KING KONG (1933)

A film crew journeys to 'Skull Island' where they discover a giant, prehistoric ape. After saving the beautiful blonde damsel, Ann Darrow (Fay Wray) from the grips of the beast (Kong), the crew then abducts the giant ape and brings him back to New York, hailing him as the 'Eight Wonder of the World'. Kong escapes, recaptures Ann Darrow, and climbs to the top of the Empire State building where he is finally shot down by war planes. Director: Merian C. Cooper.
